When planning your getaway at Rest – A Boutique Hotel in California wine country, be sure to review the following policies regarding cancellations, reservations, group stays, pet friendly lodging, holiday stays, and more.
Cancellation, Deposits and Refund Policy
Cancellations are required 48 hours in advance of reservation based on Pacific Standard Time. There is a $50 cancellation fee when cancellations are made less than 48 hours in advance. You are responsible for the payment of the entire number of nights booked. Our cancellation policy for group reservations is explained in your contract and generally six weeks.
Deposits are only taken in the form of a credit card to guarantee your reservation. Your card will only be charged at the time of check-in. Group reservation deposits are explained in your contract.
Should you require a Refund, it will be issued on a per case basis and approved by Rest Hotel Management and Ownership.
Pet Policy
Rest welcomes your well-behaved and trained traveling pooch. All rooms on the first level are pooch-friendly. The charge is $35 per stay for one dog and $55 per stay for two dogs. Each pooch will receive a welcome treat package and be provided a comfy bed. We ask that you keep your pet on leash when not in your room. Please do not allow the pets on the furniture and do not leave them unattended in the room unless in a crate. You will be responsible for any damage caused by your pets.
Pooch lodging and daycare are located close by should you find that suits your needs. Gold Country Pet Resort offers overnight accommodations for your pooch just 15 minutes from Rest.
For the daycare option in Jackson, just 15 minutes from Rest, Paradise Doggie Day Care offers drop-off services with supervised play available 6 days a week (summer hours are expanded to 7 days).
Please note that you will be required to provide current vaccination proof prior to arrival. Our dogs love both of these establishments and come home happy and tired!

There is a two-night minimum during a holiday and special event weekends as noted but not limited to the following:

- Labor Day Weekend
- Barbera Festival
- Big Crush
- Check-in time 3:00 PM
- Check-out time 11:00 AM
